The President and the IVSA European Team are already working closely on possible solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Collection of supplies to be delivered to Ukraine<\/li><li>Collection of funds to support organisations working with animals and refugees <\/li><li>Providing veterinary students with a platform to feel supported as part of the IVSA family<\/li><li>Establishing a database of student initiatives aiming to support Ukraine, as well as a database with contact details for our Member Organizations from countries bordering with Ukraine<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-foreground-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">You can contact them on<strong> <a href=\"mailto:ivsasolidarity@ivsa.org\">ivsasolidarity@ivsa.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Veterinary Faculty in Bila Tserkva is a full member of IVSA, EAEVAE and<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eaeve.org\/fileadmin\/downloads\/establishments_status\/EAEVE_Establishments__Status_December_2021_endorsed_by_ExCom_on_15.12.2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"> EAEVE accredited<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#cdcd96\">Current help offers from a community group of volunteer students and research scientists from academic institutions in Europe and around the world are listed here:  <a href=\"https:\/\/scienceforukraine.eu\/table.html\">#ScienceforUkraine<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information collected so far in alphabetic order per country  (10\/03\/2022): <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9c867207 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Austria<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-foreground-color has-text-color is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:90.7%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/uniko.ac.at\/foren\/forschung_kuenste\/aktuelles\/J2022\/index.php?ID=28692\" target=\"_blank\">together with all universities in Austria<\/a>&nbsp;, offers unbureaucratic support.&nbsp;Specifically, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vetmeduni.ac.at\/glossar#heading-54\">Vetmeduni<\/a>&nbsp;implements the following activities for those affected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ukrainian students are exempt from tuition fees at the Vetmeduni.<br>&nbsp;<\/li><li>Refugee students who had to interrupt their studies in veterinary medicine can initially start their studies as incoming students at the Vetmeduni.<br>&nbsp;<\/li><li>In consultation with the Austrian Students&#8217; Union of the Vetmeduni (HVU), the range of psychological online support will be increased.<br>&nbsp;<\/li><li>The commitment to the veterinary work of students to care for the animals of refugees is credited as part of the elective &#8220;Science and Practice&#8221;.<br>&nbsp;<\/li><li>In the central emergency room of the university clinic for small animals, assigned animals are cared for in cooperation with the \u201cKrone Tierhilfe Ukraine\u201d campaign;&nbsp;the allocation is made by the &#8220;Krone Tierhilfe Ukraine&#8221; in the initial reception center in Donaustadt.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9c867207 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Croatia<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-foreground-color has-text-color is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:90.7%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Offer for Ukrainian students of veterinary medicine the possibility of continuing their studies at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vef.unizg.hr\/en\/news-release\/support-to-the-ukrainian-students-of-veterinary-medicine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb<\/a>. This includes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Continuation of their education free of charge from the first to the sixth year, in Croatian or English. <\/li><li>The possibility of completing parts of their course at our Faculty, as part of the student exchange programme. <\/li><li>Completion of clinical practice at our Faculty\u2019s clinics including professional field work. <\/li><li>Free meals in the form of lunch and evening meals in the student restaurants.<\/li><li>Provision of continuous support to the development of their careers, with academic and psychological counselling (Office for Career Development and Academic and Psychological Counselling +385 1 2390 330; ilehpan@vef.unizg.hr) <\/li><li>An individual approach to resolving problems and classes missed as a result of the current situation.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9c867207 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Canada<\/strong><br><br><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Czech Republic <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-foreground-color has-text-color is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:90.7%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Veterinary Faculty in Calgary can help with online sessions on all topics related to veterinary medicine, including pre-clinical and clinical topics.
